Lung Cancer is the #1 cancer killer of American men and women. It kills more people than breast, prostate, colon, liver, kidney, and melanoma cancers combined.
Lung cancer kills almost twice as many American women as breast cancer annually. One in 12 men and one in 16 women will get lung cancer in their lifetimes. That’s why Duke Raleigh invites you to join the fight against lung cancer.
Duke Raleigh Cancer Center is the presenting sponsor of this year’s Free to Breathe walk to fight lung cancer. The Free to Breathe walk will be on November 7 at 9:30 a.m. at the North Carolina State University Centennial Campus.
You can help fight lung cancer by walking with Duke Raleigh Hospital on November 7. Proceeds will go to the National Lung Cancer Partnership to help fund research for more effective treatments for lung cancer.
To register for Free to Breathe, visit freetobreathe.org, or contact Jacqueline Brown at 954-3950 for more information.
